Covid-19 Update

Your Safe and Secure Italian Villa holiday

During these unprecedented times, private villa holidays remain one of the safest ways to travel, reducing exposure to additional guests outside of your party and ensuring the utmost in cleanliness and hygiene standards.

At Le Torri di Bagnara castles your health remains our top priority, now and always. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 developments, we continue to stay committed to the safety of our guests by closely monitoring the situation and following guidance issued by the Italian Government and Health Office and the World Health Organization. Our focus is to ensure that we meet international protocols as well as our guests needs, while doing our part to keep you, our associates and our communities safe.

Moreover, we remind you that our castle-villas have a tourist accommodation license (luxury Agriturismo), so are entitled by law to host paying guests. This guarantees our Guests a superior degree of safety and security standards that have to be complied with by law. All the staff working at Le Torri di Bagnara is legally employed and has to attend training courses imposed by law (health&safety, first aid, HACCP).

Important Health and Safety updates

As always, cleanliness is our top priority, with a heightened focus in light of recent COVID-19 developments. Staying in a self-catering villa is a great choice compared to hotels as most of the regulations revolve around keeping shared spaces sanitised; with no shared spaces the key points to address with a villa rental are accurate cleaning and sanitising before your arrival and social distancing when welcoming you.

Our commitment to Hygiene and Safety:

-We regularly train our employees on the required hygiene protocols.

– Social distancing is respected when welcoming guests.

– We inform guests about hygiene regulations at check-in.

– Le Torri di Bagnara Castles cleans and sanitizes the properties between each reservation—following enhanced hygiene guidelines and checklists, and the keys are sanitised and left for pickup rather than handed to you. We clean and disinfect all hard surfaces and high touch areas using products approved by public health authorities to help fight the coronavirus.

– Hand sanitizer dispensers are available at the entrance of the property. Personal hand sanitizers are available in every room.

– All our staff has all necessary protection needed and avoids unnecessary contact with guests during their stay.

– Guests with symptoms of illness are asked to stay inside the property and inform our concierge. Our staff will immediately contact a doctor and assist you with this.

Who can rent a villa?

Families belonging to the same household or supporting bubbles can lodge in the same holiday villa, but what about two or more families who decide to holiday together? Or a group of friends?

The official guidance states:

Interpersonal distancing does not apply to members of the same family or cohabiting group nor to people staying in the same room nor to people not covered by current interpersonal distancing regulations with this latter being the personal responsibility of those involved.

So it seems that if you rent a large villa as a group it is up to you to make the decision regarding distancing. I would assume that if you have decided to holiday together then you have measured the risks and decided they are acceptable.
