“Magic in Umbria. Our family spent a week at Le Torri di Bagnara to celebrate a milestone birthday. Our visit could not have been more magical. The medieval castle has been updated but maintains its historical legacy in a beautiful and luxurious way. The accommodations are first class in every sense. Bicycles and walking paths are available to explore its 1500 acres. Dinner prepared for us 3 of the nights and Alex helped us pair our wines perfectly with the amazing meals of pizza, barbeque and porchetta prepared by their chefs. The outside terrace was the perfect venue for our evening dinners. Marcella assisted us with all details and was very accommodating. The staff couldn’t have been more pleasant, professional or helpful. The location allowed us the opportunity to make day trips to Assisi, Siena, Cortona, Perugia and Montepulciano/Montalcino. The remaining days were spent relaxing around the beautiful pool. There were many other amenities on the property that we chose not to use as the pool was our gathering place with its amazing views. Zenaide is the perfect hostess and surprised us with a gorgeous floral bouquet for the birthday celebration dinner. The dinner was topped with a delicious strawberry cake. We couldn’t have scripted a better week and the weather cooperated perfectly. The property sits high on a hilltop which makes driving up interesting but also offers amazing Umbrian valley views. It was definitely a dream trip come true.”

“I stayed at Le Torri Di Bagnara castles in September 2022 as part of a group of 14 family and friends. We had the staff prepare two dinners and did the rest of our meals ourselves. The entire week’s experience was outstanding. The facilities were clean and modern while maintaining the charm and beauty of the Castles. The staff provided excellent service; remaining unobtrusive yet contactable and responsive. Marcella was absolutely amazing arranging our preorder of groceries, facilitating activities, responding to queries and ensuring a top class experience. The large estate has a number of trails for hiking and cycling. We did a 10K walk entirely on the property. The chef and staff provided two delicious dining experiences and they fit into our schedule each time. Highly recommend for groups up to 30 persons who want a luxurious private vacation in a natural environment yet being in close driving distance to several Italian tourist attractions.”

“Amazing, incredible, peaceful, words can’t describe how unique this place is. Made even more so by the exceptional service before and during our stay. A truly magical stay.
We came to celebrate our wedding with 25 friends and family, renting both the castle and Tower. Before our stay Zenaide organized so many things for us, transfers, trips to Florence and Rome, catering, cooking classes and an amazing truffle hunt in the magnificent grounds. Nothing was too much trouble and she is an amazing host. Marcella provided a wonderful greeting and was there every day to help and support us, even ringing in pizza orders to compensate for our lack of Italian.
All the rooms are lovely, with air con in every space and great places to relax quietly if you want some peace. We also found we cycled through the multiple spaces; pool, back patio, courtyard through the day with the full group. Each giving a different but very relaxing feel.
We heard the Tower is going to be redeveloped into luxury suites over the winter and I am sure it will be of the same magnificent standard as the castle, but with the added advantage of the views across the valley, as the tower is a little further up the hill than the castle.
Overall, a magical place made spectacular by the service and attention to detail. Can’t wait to go back!”

“Set upon an expansive estate with sunflower fields, verdant hills and a forest filled with truffles, Le Torri di Bagnara is an elegant, comfortable place to unwind with families and friends (it would also be a great place to rent for food, art and wellness retreats!). Countess Zenaide and her team can arrange many fun experiences for guests, from wine tastings and weddings to private truffle hunting excursions, cooking classes and hot air balloon rides in the Umbrian countryside. “When my wife and I decided to have a destination event for the renewal of our wedding vows, we wanted to create memories for life for our guests as well as ourselves. We thus had high expectations for our week in Umbria/Tuscany–and the Torri Di Bagnara exceeded them with an exclamation point!
It all starts with the owner and proprietor of the Torri–Zenaide Giunta (a true descendant of Napolean Bonaparte), and her on-site staff, led day-to-day by Roberto Ciampi. Zenaide has restored a property and created a facility that is a match for its spectacular surroundings. The property and the buildings are as attractive and comfortable as they appear in the photos. The food (we had two dinner events on site for 30 people and full breakfast every morning) were top restaurant quality.
But the real point of distinction was Zenaide’s personal presence and the effort of Roberto and the Torri staff during the week to ensure everything ran smoothly. No detail was too small, from candles for a cake, to screens for video, to a professional grade garment steamer, to ensure our stay was second to none.
One last point is that the Torri accommodated our group of 30, including a couple of families with children that benefited from the fully appointed apartments with kitchens in the Tower–the property has two buildings for accommodations–but it can also be taken for smaller groups in only the main villa, without the Tower property. So on top of everything else, the Torri has great flexibility for different sized groups with divergent needs/desire for accommodations. There is even a lovely consecrated chapel attached to the Villa, available for weddings or simply daily devotions”.
