We are thrilled and profoundly moved to share a milestone that celebrates the heart, dedication, and values of our owner, Zenaide Giunta Tremi.
In the historic setting of the Castello di Magione, near Perugia, Zenaide was officially awarded the Cross of Merit (Croce al Merito Melitense) by H.E. the Grand Prior of Rome, Fra’ Roberto Viazzo, on behalf of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.
A Recognition of Lifelong Volunteering and Dedication
The Cross of Merit is a highly prestigious accolade, traditionally bestowed to recognize extraordinary personal dedication and service that align with the historic humanitarian mission of the Order of Malta.
This honor was not awarded as a profound recognition of Zenaide’s personal journey: over 20 years of continuous, selfless service as a volunteer. For more than two decades, she has quietly and passionately dedicated her time, energy, and care to supporting the Order’s charitable initiatives and helping those in need.
Values that Inspire Us Every Day
Receiving this award at the Castello di Magione—a fortress steeped in centuries of history and chivalric tradition—adds a profound layer of meaning to this recognition.
For all of us at Le Torri di Bagnara, Zenaide’s decades-long commitment to volunteering is a constant source of inspiration. It reminds us that true excellence is rooted in empathy, generosity, and service to others.
We extend our deepest gratitude to H.E. Fra’ Roberto Viazzo and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta for this immense honor, celebrating a beautiful journey of solidarity that spans over twenty years.
